Output Feedback Sliding Mode Control for Mimo Discrete Time Systems
In this paper we present a new algorithm for discrete sliding mode control of linear multivariable systems using fast output sampling feedback. Here we make use of a single switching surface regardless of the number of inputs. The main contribution of this work is that instead of using the system states, the output samples are used for designing the controller. Numerical example demonstrates th...
متن کاملDiscrete time Output Feedback Sliding Mode Control for Uncertain Systems
This paper describes a method for designing discrete time static output feedback sliding mode controllers. Previous work has shown that by identifying a minimal set of current and past outputs, an augmented system can be obtained which permits the design of a sliding surface based upon output information only, if the invariant zeros of this augmented system are stable. In this work, a procedure...
متن کاملMulti–input Second Order Sliding Mode Control of Nonholonomic Systems
The multi–input second order sliding mode control of nonholonomic systems is addressed in this paper. The crucial point is the necessity of describing the system in new coordinates, so as to be capable of selecting a suitable sliding manifold upon which to enforce a second order sliding mode. The procedure adopted in this paper is backstepping–based. The advantage of our proposal relies on its ...
متن کاملMulti-input sliding mode control of nonlinear uncertain affine systems
In this paper the multi-input sliding mode methodology for uncertain nonlinear system affine in the control is generalized to the case in which the matrix pre-multiplying the control in the state equation is uncertain, non constant and state-dependent. This property is inherited by the matrix multiplying the control in the sliding output dynamics, which is the nonlinear version of the well know...
متن کاملSliding mode control of periodic discrete-time linear systems with saturating actuators and input disturbances
This paper proposes the use of a time-varying sliding surface for robust transient shaping of periodic linear discrete-time plants subject to saturating actuators, in the presence of bounded matched uncertainties. A constructive procedure is presented, ultimate boundedness of state trajectories is proved and a result about the choice of tuning parameters for robust transient shaping is given.
